Start with the exact saree
Ask questions about the particular item, not just the shop or the collection. Obtain a full view, reverse-side photographs, dimensions, and a clear material declaration. Keep the product code so that every answer can be connected to the piece you receive.
Check four separate claims
Silk purity, handloom production, geographical origin, and zari composition need different evidence. Read the separate guide to Silk Mark, Handloom Mark, and GI recognition, then ask what supports each claim made in the listing.
Inspect before making changes
On receipt, compare the item with the agreed description before cutting a blouse piece or authorising finishing. Check for stains, holes, snagged areas, unexpected joins, and any discrepancy in dimensions. Photograph a concern and contact the seller promptly through the agreed support channel.
Use this while you shop
Tick an item once you have checked it. These ticks are a shopping aid for this visit, not an authenticity certificate. Leave any uncertain answer unticked and ask the seller to clarify it.
